Members of the public expressed concerns re planning application at Fairfield for 3 dwellings. Plans are such that houses could be turned from 1 bed to multiple bed dwellings once planning agreed. Concerns re number of vehicles exiting onto main road. Concerns re disruption during construction.

Resolved to OBJECT to this application and submit a response the same as that for the previous applications with minor amendments and request that this application be presented to the Planning Panel and not determined by a single officer. Clerk to request date of Planning meeting and that a member of the Parish Council be able to attend to present objections.

The Internal Auditor raised concerns that the request by the council to transfer funds from the current account to deposit account had been ignored by their bankers. A letter to be sent to Natwest requesting the transfer of funds and to be accompanied by a copy of the Internal Audit report.

Cllr Kirkby has been contacting the National Trust for it to be used as an Information Hub and also located a defib. Still needs the gold painting on the crown.

To meet 25 June at 7pm to discuss the results of the initial survey

Cllr Brown stated that he had been approached by an interested party. Applicant to contact Clerk.

Village Hall contact now established

17/24 Reports from representatives on outside bodies

Village Hall – Drafted constitution and submitting application to Charity Commissioners. Issues around ownership need to be resolved.

19/24 Councillor Matters

Cllr Harrington – Fallen lady to be put back into position by member of the public
Cllr Hunt reported that she had received a complaint with regards to a large hole opposite Rockfoot Station, Boot. Harris fencing not secure, belongs to ENW
Cllr Harringtom reported that the mirror at the Boot junction is missing, making it difficult to exit this junction.
