DRAFT MINUTES OF THE ANNUAL MEETING OF THE PARISH COUNCIL HELD ON TUESDAY 13 SEPTEMBER 2022 AT St BEGA’S VILLAGE HALL, ESKDALE GREEN COMMENCING AT 7.30PM

Clerk presented costs of repairing the telephone box of £1025.94 excluding vat and delivery
Resolved proposed by Cllr Hunt and Seconded by Cllr Kirkby that the parts be ordered.
Clerk to seek funding from Eskdale Open
Cllr Harrington to contact an electrician re power supply
Cllr Carlin to put a piece on Facebook seeking volunteers to help with project commencing on 22 October 2022 at 10am

44/22.1 To examine applications for development and submit observations to the Planning Authority

Change of use from rough grazing field to nature/wildlife area. Construction of wildlife pond with viewing platform. Inflow and outflow to existing drainage ditch. Creation of gate access in existing drystone wall. Picnic area with picnic benches. Interpretation boards x 3

It was resolved to order a model of a serving officer from Royal British Legion at a cost of £200

Village hall applying for money for a feasibility study but struggling to make contact to discuss application
