A Freedom of Information Request had been received from a resident which was responded to within the statutory time scales.
The Chair of Irton with Santon PC had contacted the clerk with a suggestion that the 2 PCs got together to discuss common issues. The Council were in agreement with this suggestion. Clerk to contact to arrange a meeting.

31/23.1 Defib – Eskdale Green
The Clerk had received an offer from the owners of Fisherground Campsite to purchase a replacement defibrillator for the one located at the toilets, Eskdale Green, Proposed by Cllr Kirkby and Seconded by Cllr Hunt to accept the offer of contributing towards the purchase of a replacement defib.

Lengthsman to be approached to undertake preparatory work on box prior to painting. Volunteers to be requested for 2 September to start painting.

Clerk to write to Cllr Pratt re lack of engagement and consultation

A Lenghthsman has been appointed and commenced work.

Cllrs Carlin, Harrington and Kirkby attended training on 28 June 2023. Clerk to contact ACT and arrange a meeting where they can advise on moving the plan forward

Security lights now removed.

The Clerk reported on how councillor email addresses can be linked to the website. Proposed by Cllr Kirkby seconded by Cllr Shaftesley that this be implemented

To include school encourage the planting of seeds.

Village Hall – Cllr Shaftesley reported that the Village Hall Committee have applied for funding for a feasibility study for the hall and a decision on the funding was expected on 14 July 2023. No requirement for Parish Council involvement at this stage.
