DRAFT MINUTES OF THE MEETING OF THE PARISH COUNCIL HELD VIA TELEPHONE CONFERENCE CALL ON TUESDAY 26 JANUARY 2021 COMMENCING AT 7.30PM

95/20 Co-option of Councillor: It was proposed by Cllr Hunt and Seconded by Cllr Vicars and RESOLVED that Mr D Porter be co-opted on as a member of the council. The Clerk to contact Mr Porter.

98/20 Applications for Development

98/20.1 To examine applications for development and submit observations to the Planning Authority

7/2021/4003 Forge Farm, Eskdale,
Internal remodelling and refurbishment.
The Council resolved to support the application

7/2021/4002 1 Rigg Cottages, Eskdale,
Change of use of part small agricultural paddock into domestic use and erection of detached double garage following refusal of application 7/2020/4070
The council resolved to support this application as the applicant had addressed all concerns raised by LDNP

7/2020/4095 Dalegarth Farm Cottage, Eskdale,
Non-material amendment to planning application 7/2019/4040 (Conversion & refurbishment of dwelling to provide 2 no. dwelling units) to install pvc windows
The council resolved to support this application

7/2020/4103 Forge Farm, Eskdale
Retention of repair of storm damage to haybarn roof, guttering and replace rotten bathroom window (Listed Building Consent application)

98/20.2 To ratify the observations submitted by the Clerk under devolved powers since last meeting.

98/20.3 To note the decisions of the statutory planning authority with regards to recent applications:

It was noted that correspondence had been received from LDNP planning department regarding the alleged breaches of planning consent for Fairfield, Eskdale

99/20 Councillor Matters

• Cllr Carlin stated that a response was required to LDNP Supplementary Planning Consultation by 19 February 2021
• The Clerk reported that a planning application had been received and a response was required before the next planned meeting in March. It was resolved to hold a planning meeting on 9 February 2021 after the public meeting.
• Cllr Shaftesley gave his apologies for the planned open meeting with the Fred Whitton Challenge representatives to be held on 9 February 2021
• The Clerk suggested a trial run of Microsoft teams meeting before the planned meeting on 9 February. This was agreed to be held on 2 February 2021 at 7.30pm
• Cllr Kirby raised the issue that there was no safe place identified at the Boot end of the parish in the case of an emergency. This to be discussed at the March meeting.
• Cllr Vicars reported that the telephone box was a listed building. Cllr Hunt to pass this information on to the owners.

The next full meeting of the Parish Council to be held virtually on 9 March 2021 commencing at 7.30pm.
