To receive apologies for absence.
To consider whether there are any agenda items during consideration of which the press and public should be excluded (Public Bodies Admission to Meetings Act 1960).

To receive declarations, by elected and co-opted members, of interests in respect of items on this agenda.
To authorise the Chairman to sign, as a correct record, the minutes of the meeting held on 9 September 2025.

To examine applications for development and submit observations to the Planning Authority:
7/2025/4104 – Forge Farm, Eskdale
Approval of details reserved by condition 4 (paint colour) of planning permission 7/2025/4068 – Four work packages:
a) Internal kitchen floor removal and relaying.
b) Removal of flaking paint from window surrounds and porch.
c) Removal of interior porch.
d) Like-for-like replacement of windows.
Notification only.
To ratify the observations submitted by the Clerk under devolved powers since the last meeting:
7/2025/4103 – Eskdale Mill, Boot
Refurbishment of the bakehouse, which forms part of the listed building. Works consist of:
– Replacement of a rotten oak roof support beam.
– Replacement of two deteriorated oak lintels (one over the door and one over the window).
– Replacement of the fixed window with a bottom-hung inward-opening hopper window.
Status: Supported.
To note the decisions of the statutory planning authority with regard to recent applications:
7/2025/4082 – Low Birker Farm, Boot
Barn for the storage of agricultural and forestry machinery and vehicles.
Decision: Refused under NOI Procedure (Notice of Intention – Agricultural, Q6g).
To approve the following payments made under Financial Standing Orders:

To receive and note the bank reconciliation statements dated 30 November 2025.
To consider the Budget Comparison Report as at 31 December 2025 and determine action needed to address deviations from the budget.

All other correspondence to be circulated in the normal manner for Councillors’ perusal.
An opportunity for Councillors to raise minor matters, not on this agenda, on behalf of residents.
