The bank statement dated 31 March 2022 was being verified by the Internal Auditor
Cllr Brown is completing the application to be a bank signatory
112/21.4 To consider the Budget Comparison Report as at 31 March 2022 and determine action need to address deviations from the budget
The Clerk reported that there had been an underspend on budget of £2267 which would be placed in reserves. The Clerk reported that the Parish Council was now financially sound and recommended that £6000 be transferred from the current account to the Reserve Account. This was resolved

Each point was considered in turn and it was resolved that the council complied with all points. The Chair was authorised to sign the Annual Governance Statement
The Clerk reported that notification had been received from the external auditors that the accounts would be subjected to a Limited Assurance review.

113/21.1 Housing Survey/Community Plan
Resolved to accept the housing survey report submitted by Cllr Carlin and for it to be submitted to Copeland BC and the LDNP.

Cllr Kirkby proposed that a vote of thanks for all her hard work on this report be sent to Cllr Carlin
113/21.2 Annual Parish Meeting
To be held 7pm on 10 May 2022 in the village hall. Speaker from the GDF Community Partnership to be invited to attend to explain about the fund.
113/21.3 Letter of Support for services at West Cumberland Hospital
Resolved to send a letter of support for improved services at West Cumberland Hospital

Village Hall – It was noted that the Village Hall were holding another meeting regarding the future of the building at the end of the month of April. The VH committee had received offers of help and additional members for the committee/
